Are you ready for the next Basel Capital (ICAAP) requirements?

If you still call it “Basel IV*” … you're probably already in trouble.

And if you're not calling it anything yet? You might be months behind.

The so called “Basel IV*” Accord is known by various different names, including: Basel 3.1 (in the UK), CRR III & CRD VI (in the EU), B3E (Basel III Endgame in the USA), Basel III Finalised Reforms (by the BCBS), etc.

Four names. One global headache.

Different jurisdictions. Different dates. Same core message: Capital standards are shifting hard — and most firms are underestimating what’s coming.

Let’s be blunt: This isn’t a technical refresh. It’s a re-cut of risk weightings, market risk treatment (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB)), and new capital rules for credit & operational risks, etc..

Quietly, the capital rules changed. Loudly, the impact will show.

Most banks are not ready. Not really.

And many don’t have the time or team to build a compliant response from scratch.

That’s why we built it for them.

RiskTAE’s Basel ICAAP Capital Model is a deployable Excel-based solution, and built for real-world use.

No black box. No consulting overhead. Just a tool that helps your team model the future regime now, not later.

If you want details or a walkthrough, please contact me.

We’re already helping firms pre-emptively model new exposures — and reduce capital shocks before they hit.

*-The capital landscape is shifting — again — and the name it goes by depends on your regulator. That said, the term “Basel IV” is now part of the regular vernacular. Basel IV is not a single regulatory framework, but rather a collection of changing international banking standards. In fact, the Basel Committee views these reforms as simply completing the Basel III Accord and contests the use of the unapproved term ‘Basel IV’. Irrespective of the terminology, significant new extensive requirements are being introduced by the Bank for International Settlements and Basel Committee of Banking Supervision. The key message is that Basel IV is being referred to as the most comprehensive transformation package in the history of the Basel regulations
