  • Founded one of the UK's first specialist Risk Recruitment agencies.
  • A seasoned and influential recruiter; able to bring expertise, energy, and empathy to both clients and candidates alike in order to help achieve their Talent-related objectives. Highly technical in all areas of Risk Management included Credit Risk, Market Risk, Prudential Risk and Operational/Non-Financial Risk, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Experience in working with a wide variety of clients from Start-up/Fintechs to multinational financial institutions.
  • Able to support and partner with small and growing HR/People Teams, In-house Talent Acquisition and global RPOs (Recruitment Process Outsource).

  • Highly motivated, deadline-committed, goal-driven Risk Management consultant (& Interim CRO) with over 30 years of experience in Financial Services and 23 years of Risk Management experience in fintech, capital markets, investment banking, retail banking, asset/investment management, and general & life insurance.
  • I am a professional accountant, a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (Big 4), Certified Management Accountants of Canada, and an International Associate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
  • Globally mobile with dual British/Canadian citizenship, I have worked extensively in London, New York, Toronto, and other major financial centres in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
  • My extensive knowledge in risk management leads me to participate in Risk Management lectures for Cambridge University's (Cambridge, UK) Banking Executive Programme. I present seminars in Risk Management worldwide in both developed countries and emerging markets. As a senior partner in Risks Explained Ltd., I have developed online courses focused on Basel IV revisions for Credit, Market/FRTB, and Operational Risks.
